Our Purpose

A Heaven For Those Searching

The Parks of Study and Reflection are places which, more than anything, are meant for the study of Silo’s teachings. They are a heaven for those whose hearts search for meaning, for those who stopped believing in false solutions, for those who still have hope.

Sometimes the Parks are the site of great gatherings. Here neighbours, friends, and family members enjoy celebrating different events together in an atmosphere of joy and kindness.

Our Origins

The Humanist Movement

In this era of rapid acceleration, the human being cannot keep up with the pace of change and thereby loses their own direction. In reply to this, people with a Humanist Sensibility started to think in the direction of Direct Communication, Non-Violence, and Peace.

This initiative, named The Humanist Movement, was started in 1969 by SILO, a thinker, philosopher, and writer from Argentina in South America. He contributed immensely in the Psycho-Social-Spiritual fields.

The architectural elements found in this Park are common to all Parks worldwide. They reflect the way in which the human being has listened to and interpreted the echoes of the sacred from ancient times. Each structure holds a specific purpose on the journey to internal reflection.

The Entrance Gate

The Entrance Gate marks the boundary between the everyday world and the space dedicated to internal work. It is a symbol of stepping into a different mental state, leaving behind daily worries to focus on profound study, reflection, and connection with oneself.

Connection

The Monolith

Constructed of steel, the Monolith acts as a physical and spiritual bridge connecting heaven and earth. Its presence serves as a focal point for inspiration, symbolizing the alignment of human purpose with higher, universal meanings.

Internal Focus

The Meditation Hall

Designed with a spherical interior, the Meditation Hall is the heart of internal work. Its unique architecture is free from traditional iconography, instead using space and light to facilitate profound internal experiences and a deep connection to the sacred within us.

Community

The Meeting Hall

A space designed for exchange, dialogue, and community building. The Meeting Hall is where friends, families, and researchers gather to study teachings, share insights, and celebrate the shared human experience in an atmosphere of warmth and unity.

Flow & Fusion

The Fountain

Water represents the flow of energy and life. The Fountain in the park symbolizes the fusion of diverse principles, the purification of intentions, and the constant renewal of our commitment to non-violence and humanization.

Retreat & Study

The Residential Block

For those undertaking longer periods of study and reflection, the Residential Block offers a quiet, supportive environment. It provides the necessary accommodations for retreats, allowing individuals to immerse themselves fully in the teachings away from worldly distractions.

Kandhroli Park is not an isolated sanctuary. Globally, all the Parks of Study and Reflection are physically and mentally interconnected.

It is the exact same Purpose that animates this project everywhere—a Purpose intrinsically tied to human evolution, transcending geographical borders to awaken consciousness across the planet.
